The Grocery Gift Card Program is underway and we’ve made great strides towards raising funds for the New Horizons building renovation project. We firmly believe this is a beneficial fundraiser where all members of our community can participate and contribute by simply doing something you already do – grocery shop.
We’ve launched the program with two grocery chains that is, Calgary Co-op and Presidents Choice (Superstore). These chains were selected based on survey data collected from the congregation and rate of return from grocery gift cards purchased i.e. 9% return from Co-op and 5% return for PC.
Please follow these simple 7 steps to order your preferred Grocery Cards… and feel free to check out FAQ’s at the bottom of this page before ordering.
STEP 1: Select which method of payment best suits your needs. Either E-transfer OR Debit/Credit Card.
- Paying E-Transfer. You will NOT incur a $5 admin fee. After completing the online order form you will be prompted to e-transfer the TOTAL amount.
- Paying via Debit/Credit Card online via Square [dalhousiegiftcards.square.site] (note a $5 admin fee will be added to your total to cover a portion of the churches transaction fees. THIS WILL APPEAR IN THE SHIPPING SECTION. ITEMS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED)
STEP 2: Select the quantity of cards you’d like to purchase
STEP 3: Pay using one of the methods listed above i.e. Debit/Credit Card or E-transfer
STEP 4: Check your email for a confirmation email of your order (note, this email may appear in your junk mail or promotions folder)
STEP 5: Pick-up your ordered cards. Refer to the pick-up schedule here IMPORTANT *if you order cards after the Wednesday deadline as outlined in the schedule, your cards will be pushed to the next available pick-up date i.e. the next green highlighted Sunday.
STEP 6: Celebrate because you’ve just supported our churches renovation project by buying groceries!
